Scalp Needling creates your body’s own growth factors to areas of hair loss and stimulate hair growth in these regions.  Scalp needling is able to restore hair growth for clients who have the following:

• Early stages of Male Pattern Hair Loss or thinning hair on scalp
• Female Pattern Hair Loss at all stages
• Hypotrichosis (fine/reduced hairs) of the eyebrows or beard
• Temporary Alopecia Areata ( bald patches on head or beard)
• Metabolic causes of hair loss – iron deficiency and medication induced hair loss

So how does it work?

A series of tiny needles are used in combination with a topical peptide (Extracellular Matrix) to create superficial channels in the areas of hair loss and infuse nutrients and growth factors into hair follicles.   The application stimulates cellular angiogenesis, essential for follicle nourishment and inhibits enzyme 5-alpha-reductase that is responsible for increasing levels of DHT (dihydrotestosteron) the hormone responsible for androgenic alopecia.

The recovery from Micro Needling Hair Restoration requires very minimal downtime. Mild soreness of the treated area(s) occurs immediately after the treatment. This is normal and will resolve within 2-6 hours.

In order to achieve optimal results, a minimum of 3 treatments are recommended, which are done every 4 weeks.  Home-care is required after your initial series of treatments to receive optimal long lasting results and a recommended touch up 1-2 times a year. You will be provided with a Derma Roller designed for home use to increase absorption of a recommended hair growth stimulator i.e. minoxidil or copper peptides.

New hair growth can be seen as early as 2 weeks (if using homecare products in conjunction with treatment), but is typically evident between 5-8 months and will continue to improve up to a year after treatment.
